CAPA 380 Make up and Prosthetics

1: the first step of this process was to clean the persons face to get rid of the oils on the skin so the spirt gum would stick better.


2: We then applied glue to the upper lip then let it settle for a little bit then applied the hair to one side of the face with applying the hair you have to push the hair in at the roots which makes it look more natural.



3: We then done this process again till we had hair on both sides of the face then trimmed down the hair and then began to try and then we tried to plate the hair on each side.


Makeup/ no makeup look


1: Before we started we had are model wipe down and clean her face with micellar after that we had are model moisturise her face then after and had her put primer on her face as well which allows the makeup to stick better to the face.


Final no make up look
3: This was the fine product of the no make up look which turned out well ,after this we added eye shadow and lip stick to make it more of make up and beauty look .

2: After this step we put on mattifying power which helps take the shine away form the light of the model reducing the shiny spots then we used concealer on the high points and contour to deepen the main places on her face such as the cheekbones and on the brim of your forehead

1. Before we started this project on the modal we had her clean her face and moisturise it but also primer it so the make up sticks better to the skin

2. After this we used contour around areas to deepen the face very heavily this was placed around the top of the forehead and around the eyes .

3. After each step we powered down each time to stop the shine and allow the make up to stick better.



4. After this we added wrinkles this was done by having the model raise there eyebrows and then filling in the creases in to different spots on the face .After this we were not happy with the out come so we repeated the steps on me and added white face paint to my facial hair which added to the affect and after all we got a better looking result
Making prosthetics fingers

1. We used Alginate power and water to a 1 to 1 ratio in a cup and mixed it together till we got a pink solution. After this we put are models finger

2. After this we heated Gelatine in the microwave for 5 seconds which melted it then poured it in to the mould and let it to dry out till we were able to rip it out of the mould.

3. After we got the finger out of the mould we used the setting matte powder to dry out the finger which gave us the final product.
