Lighting

Types of lights

All lighting can be broken down in to 4 different sections such as the price of the light ,what the light in its self can do and , how hot it can get and the how easy it can break this can be used to break down every type of light.

Tungsten light

- very cheap to buy

-can get very hot as well

-can break really easily

- Perfect colour rendition

could be used really well in scenes which have candles in or any light which comes from fire or to create a warm effect.

soft lighting

Soft light is indirect from a large source which can produce a large amount of light which can lead to a bright source. But it can also be used in normal talking scenes but can be used in different scenes. For examples its very close to the sun on a cloudy day,Light with diffusion (through a screen) andBounced light from a reflector or wall/ceiling.

- soft lighting is best for smooth shadows ,showing tones of emotions, and making people look good.
