This documentary is about businessman Salvatore "lucky" Luciano, a crime boss in New York during the 1920s-30s. The purpose of this documentary is to educate people about his life and challenges he had to face building his empire of crime and getting a reputation of becoming a powerful businessman. This could relate to the cultural people of Sicily which in this documentary it talks about the migrants in Italy traveling over to New York. Its strong points focus on how Luciano built his empire and how he and the men at table like Al Capone, Joe Maseria, and others who had constructed the crime organisation . I think with this film it manages to fit most factual evidence about his life in less than five minutes and there isn't many weak points with this interview the creator had achieved what they wanted to talk about and the time they wanted to do it in.
This documentary is about how Eric wright created the Hip hop group N.W.A. a controversial group started in the late 80's . its mostly aimed at the leader Eric wright and and how he started off, he was once selling drugs and witnessed the death of his cousins being shot and decides to change up his career to become a rapper. The documentary is aimed at African Americans during this time in Compton where the force used police brutality and racial abuse, whilst this was happening the Group had decided to create music about what was happening in there area. when the group became big they met a producer known as Jerry Heller who gave them the company where there made there music known as Ruthless Records. The documentary gives the audience a lot of strong points about Eric and the group which can put people in perspective of how hard it was for these boys to talk about there background what there neighbourhood was like, racism, police brutality, Gangs, I think that this documentary should be seen by everyone who is interested in Hip Hop culture. The were also considered the first group to create Gansta rap into the subgenre.
This short documentary is about a young child soldier of there Red army known as Sergei Aleshkov he was just six years old when he thought for his country. His elder brother and mother were unfortunately hanged as a declaration of war to the Parisians. The young boy continued to fight with Red army for survival and vengeance he seemed on those that killed his family. He was later then given an award for his bravery. I think this documentary had some great historical features they have told about Sergei and the audience would be shocked by how young this child was fighting in a war that young but also the only negative I would say about this is the sponsor at the start, it takes up a minute of the film where that minute could been stored up with more information about the source they are trying to get across about Sergei. Overall this documentary is still successful and paints a dark image of the young soldiers life during the Second World War.

For this pitch I had to explode my ideas and preparation for the production I wanted to produce. For example I had created a mind map explaining all the topics I will be covering in my documentary. I made it into an order of what dad was going to narrate about to make It organised. The challenge with this was creating a budget and making it realistic, I then started looking at a website known hireacamera.com which gave me a lot of different ideas where to put the boundaries at. with my production schedule I put the time and date at 9;00 to 4 on the 15th to the 17th but however that might change if I have plans for filming earlier. After I had done my pitch I had some feedback on what I could have worked on and how could make my work better . from my feedback it said I was well prepared and that I was confident In the work I wanted to produce and display to my audience, one thing I could've worked on was providing more detail using demographic and psychographic parameters and something relatable to what they might be watching on T.V. For feedback on my budget I had to use more detail which I have changed now is a lot more updated than before . in the future I realise there are a few little details that I can correct and change so I don't make those mistakes . With my legal and ethnical I found challenging trying to stir away from any sensitive features like causing any thing in the production that some people might find offended. with this production I want my audience to find the themes of this documentary relatable to those who grew up in the 70s and 80s in Bristol and what life was like then and how many changes have been made

My product schedule at the minute, but how ever this might change, if I do not film it in one day or decide to shoot earlier.
