Lighting Workshops
As part of my horror film unit, we had a short workshop lasting about a week, where we experimented with recreating the lighting in still images, and 'scenarios' (short videos that give the impression of a certain environment). After creating these, we had to draw lighting diagrams to show the positions of the lights and camera, and write about how it was done.

SCENARIO CREATION
The next task in my lighting unit was to take two different scenes from a film or television show and analyse the lighting used. I wrote about how this lighting affected the mood and feeling of the scene.

SCROLL
Another task falling under my lighting unit was writing descriptions of our lighting plans for our horror film, alongside diagrams of how the lighting was set up in every 'master shot', which is essentially the main shot in each scene. Unfortunately, our group did not make any pre-shooting plans for our lighting, as most of the decisions were made on the day. I did, however, write of how we decided to set up the lighting of each shot during the actual filming, what types of lights were used, and how this created a certain effect that we wanted to impact the scene.
HORROR FILM LIGHTING SET-UPS
And finally, once I finished our short horror film, I wrote an evaluation on the lighting we used as a group whilst filming it.
