shoot write up
after we all explained are ideas as a group we decided to use my idea as the bass idea but not necessarily the whole idea. we discussed how we wanted each act to go and if we wanted a creature/invader or not. once we where happy with that, we started creating the script, three of us wrote the script and then sent it to the teachers. we all ended up making our own visual treatments and i finished mine a lot later on then everyone else. we sat down with the teachers and they explained to us what we should change and what was good. afterwards we discussed as a group what to do next and one of the members started to change the script. once it was time to start making production documents we all did separate thing i ended up doing the story board and accidentally did the whole thing not realising it was only meant to be 6 squares. we left quit a lot of the production paperwork last minute and it was difficult to get it all finished on time. i asked some of my friends that where actors if they would be willing to be are actors in the short film. when it came to shooting we ended up having to shoot in the day only, so we had to tinfoil every room that we filmed in which cut into are filming time. we ended up filming over three days and we were almost always missing one member of the team each day we where filming and the actor for the sister had to be changed last minute. through out those three days i was generally working on the camera, Ati or Abby was working on the sound and Sam would do the clapper board and keep record of what takes were good and which ones where bad.

evaluation
when it came to actors we where very last minute in casting them because of this we had difficulty's in the schedule and making sure it was good for everybody to be able to make it. next time we will make sure to get our actors not last minute so we can have more time for everyone to be able to film. i accidentally made a story board for the whole short film not realising we where were only meant to do six squares each, because of this i wasted a lot of time on the storyboard when i could have done other stuff to prepare. however it made it very easy then to know what shots we had to film and where and when. next time i wont do the whole thing but it did end up as a good thing. we had to film in the day time which made it difficult because we had to tinfoil every room we filmed in, this cut into a lot of our filming time due to us deciding to meet up later then we should have.next time we will give ourselves a lot more time for the set up so it looks better and doesn't take our time away. at the beginning of the shoot we where filming very slowly and i started to stress out so i shouted at one of my team members, this was unfair and in the future i will make sure to keep my temper so it doesn't happen again. we made sure to right down each shot and whether it turned out good or bad which we learned from our teachers and was a very handy thing that i will be using in future projects.
