For my end of year project I edited  a short horror film about a man in psychosis.

Film synopsis: In a bathroom there’s a dying body, resting in the bathtub. It’s hands are flung over the edge, the blood and water dripping is onto the floor. The water is murky and red. The body begins to groan out of pain, it echoes through the bathroom as a kettle whistles. In the kitchen Sid is making a tea. He’s young and scrawny, his eyes are heavy. He slouches over the counter as he grabs the sugar and a spoon. 6 scoops later he pours the milk and the water. Sid sits at the head of his kitchen table, a large window behind him. He sits facing the wall holding the steaming mug. On the wall are a series of stuffed animals and underneath are a series of scalpels and scissors. Moments afterwards he searches in his fridge for something to eat for dinner, he sighs and slams the door. 
In the corner shop, Sid is walking around the isles, he stops at the freezer section. He stares long and deeply into the series of ready meals, finally he chooses the lasagne, as he leans over to grab it a figure appears behind him, all dressed in black with an uncanny mask. He walks away without noticing The server is sat staring at her phone, Sid waits for her reaction and then tries to get her attention. She can’t hear or see him. Sid leaves the money and goes. On his way out he bumps into a man, he apologises but the man walks on. Much later, Sid is at home watching TV on the sofa. He tries to call a few people on his phone but no-one picks up. He begins to pace around, as he does, the same figure appears behind him in the window. Sid throws his phone and walks to the kitchen.
Sid washes up some dishes, we see the eaten lasagne. His front door begins to open from the outside, Sid still does not see. Suddenly he hears footsteps and creaking floorboards. The figure is in the house. Sid suddenly hears the groaning again from the bathroom, now very panicked he goes to the bathroom. He slowly approaches the and looks in the mirror, his reflection missing, He jumps and then notices the body in the bathtub. He approaches it out of terror, and sees that it’s him. He jumps and steps back to the doorway. In the hallway there is a silhouette stood between the shadows. Sid is now terrified. The lights in his house begin to flicker and Sid runs to the kitchen to find a weapon. He grabs a scalpel and sees the figure approaching. Sid is taken disappears, so does the figure. The lights return to normal and the house falls silent again. Sid’s body is no still and lifeless.
